It’s Parts 1 and 2 of our journey through Boris Johnson's terrible novel, 72 Virgins. Or as we're calling it, Boris Gear Solid: Tactical Racism Action. In Part 1, which we recorded live at Cambridge, we are introduced to our characters of the Boris Johnson Extended Universe. Meet such characters as Definitely Not Boris Johnson, Horny African Parking Attendant, Unnecessary Shoehorned In Classics Reference, and Woman. Bad writing often reveals more about the author than they intend, and this is precisely what we explored a few months later in Part 2 with our friend from Australia, Aidan ‘Taco’ Jones. In his writing, and with what he thinks is funny, what does Boris accidentally reveal about the way he believes the world works? What does he think of ordinary people? How is he so horny for all of his characters, and yet so deeply sexless?
